PURPOSE:To select whether an operation is restarted or not after recovering by detecting a power interruption time by a microcomputer, and altering whether a recovering operation is executed or not by switch setting according to a length of a time stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 2, an indoor fan 3, an outdoor fan 4, etc., of an air conditioner are controlled to be operated or stopped by a printed board 1 in which a microcomputer 6 is placed. If a power source 5 is interrupted or recovered, the microcomputer 6 detects a power interruption time by a circuit for detecting a power interruption time of the board 1, judges an instantaneous power interruption if it is shorter than a time previously stored in a memory of the microcomputer 6, or judges a long time power interruption if it is longer. When the instantaneous interruption is judged, setting of a switch 7 is read, while the long time interruption is judged, setting of a switch 8 is read, and whether a recovering operation is executed or not is decided.
