PURPOSE:To provide a single photon emission device in which the ununiformity of the RI(radio isotope) emitted from an uniform phantom is eliminated to precisely correct the sensitivity of a radiation detector, and no ring artifact is formed on a tomographic image obtained by reconstruction of image. CONSTITUTION:When the ununiformity in sensitivity of a radiation detector 3 is corrected in a single photon emission device, the sensitivity correcting data is collected twice by changing the position of an uniform phantom, the sum and difference of the two data are determined, and the infinite difference between the sum and difference data is also determined. On the basis of this, the corrected data from which the nonuniform component of the uniform phantom is removed is made, and a precise sensitivity correction 6 is carried out by use of this corrected data.
