PURPOSE:To always obtain a good-quality image by preventing surface potential from being partially lowered on an electrostatic latent image carrier which is caused when a blank lamp for specifying an image area is lighted in the case of electrifying a photoreceptor drum using an amorphous silicone photoreceptive material. CONSTITUTION:At the time of performing electrifying operation while adjusting impressed voltage on an electrifying charger 2 by controlling output from a main transformer substrate 3, the output value from the substrate 3 is changed in synchronism with the lighting period of the blank lamp, so that the surface potential of the moving area of the photoreceptor drum 1 corresponding to the lighting period of the blank lamp is made the same potential as in the image forming area other than the moving area by electrifying the drum 1. |
