PURPOSE:To provide a color electrophotographic device capable of preventing displacement in the direction perpendicular to the carrying direction of a photoreceptor even when twist occurs between a fixed shaft supporting the photoreceptor and the supporting shaft of an intermediate transfer body and obtaining an excellent image without color slurring nor irregular color. CONSTITUTION:At the time of forming a toner image after starting the photoreceptor 14, a fur brush cleaner 41 consisting of a conductive brush is separated from a transfer drum 40 so as not to perform cleaning till the time just before the toner image is transferred and shifted to the drum 40 from the photoreceptor 14, whereby fine toner remains on the drum 40, and the surface of the photoreceptor 14 is exposed by a fade lamp 20 simultaneously, then charge on the photoreceptor is removed. |
