PURPOSE:To obtain a gyroscope having a low height, and to facilitate manufacturing by incorporating a part of a vibrating body in the hole part of a supporting substrate. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating body 2 is attached to supporting members 21a and 21b. Leg parts 22 and 22 of the supporting members are attached to a supporting substrate 25, and a communicating part 23 is attached to the ridge part in the vicinity of the node point of the vibrating body 2. The parts are contained in a case 30 in this state. At this time, a rectangular hole part 26, which is larger than the bottom surface of the moving body 2, is formed in the vicinity of the left edge part of the substrate 25, and the containing part is obtained. The lower part of the vibrating body 2 is attached so that the lower part is contained in the hole part 26. Thus, the protruding size of the vibrating body 2 in the direction of the height is decreased with respect to the substrate 25 by the contained amount of the lower part, and the height of a vibrating gyroscope 20 becomes small. The leg parts 22 are shortened by the contained amount of the lower part of the vibrating body 2, and the supporting strength of the vibrating body 2 is increased. |
