PURPOSE:To provide a world clock capable of rewriting a region name even with the memory capacity small. CONSTITUTION:A world clock has a clock circuit 20 and a display 41 for showing a place name and the time in the region shown by the place name. It further has a ROM 32 having a table for the data of time differential and the data of place name, and a rewritable memory 34. The data of at least one place name is written in the memory 34, and the position corresponding to the data of the written place name in the table is also stored in the memory 34. The time counted by the clock circuit 20 is supplied to the display 41 after corrected by the data of the time differential, and the corrected time is displayed thereon. According to the position stored in the memory 34, the data of the place name is read from the table or memory 34, and the read data of the place name is supplied to the display 41 to display the name place shown by the data of the place name. |
