<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image free from fog and toner scattering and high in blocking resistance and density and sharpness by incorpccrating a styrene type polymer or copolymer in a binder resin and a specified triphenylmethane type compound in a charge controller. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic toner comprises at least the binder resin of the styrene type monomer or copolymer, the charge controller represented by the formula, and a fine silica powder treated with an amino-modified silicone oil having a viscosity of 10-300 cPs and an amino equivalent of 1000-6000. In the formula, each of R<1>-R<6> is, independently, H, optionally substituted alkyl, or the like; each of R<7>-R<9> is, independently, H, charge, or the like; A is an anion selected from sulfate ion, nitrate ion, or tetraborate ion, etc.</p> |
