PURPOSE:To enhance the resolution, gradation, and color reproducibility, by blending more than two colorless subliming dyes to be mixed in the molecular form before sticking to the recording body. CONSTITUTION:Colorless subliming dyes to be turned into magenta, cyan, and yellow, which are separately kept in containers 1a to 1c, are heated by a heating device 2 to be gasified. Electromagnetic shutters 4 provided in the injection route of each container are operated by the signals from a color signal source 3, and the dye gases are ontrolled of the injection quantity and are mixed in an injection nozzle 5. Next, image signals are applied from an image signal source 8 into the space between an electrode 6 and an accelerating electrode 7 provided in the nozzle 5, and the injection quantity of the mixed gas is controlled. The injected gas flies towards a back electrode 9, and sticks to a recording body 10. Since the recording body 10 is preliminarily coated with an electron acceptor substance, it reacts with the adhered colorless subliming dye to develop color. |
