PURPOSE:To prevent aging variation of an electric discharge maintaining voltage in a color direct-current-type, gas electric discharge display panel and ensure a longer service life of the panel. CONSTITUTION:The ratio of the area of a cathode 2 occupying area per electric discharge cell for composing panel (cathode area ratio) is set to 80% or more. In the absence of a bulkhead 3 sectioning cell mutual tubes, an insulation body 13 is provided, while letting it extend by 5mum or more toward the cell bottom surface direction from the cathode bottom surface position, in the position whele the bulkhead is arranged. |
