The cabinet, for electronic equipment, has simple reinforcement to allow it to withstand earthquakes. The vertical member (3) are U-shaped and fixed at their open sides to the inside of the cabinet side walls (2) to form several closed vertical box structures. The innermost faces of the box structures have retaining elements (4, 5) to hold the supports carrying the electronic equipment. The upper and lower ends of the box structures are fixed rigidly to the horizontal members of the cabinet top and bottom panels. |
