PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of an observer by easily extracting comparative images concerning the method and device for extracting the image data of the same object to be compared from a storage medium storing plural image data, to which information concerning the date and time of photography is added, to be compared. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 4 extracts the image data corresponding to ID information inputted by an input means 3 and the information concerning the date and time of photography from an optical disk 2 storing plural image data. At the same time, the CPU 4 also extracts the image data on the oldest or newest date and time of photography from the image data on the date and time of photography older than the inputted date and time of photography. The respective extracted image data are temporarily stored in a memory 5. The respective image data are read from the memory 5 by operating the input means 3, and the respective images are displayed on a display means 6. |
