PURPOSE:To provide an SAW spread spectrum MODEM which can generate a modulation code for spread spectrum modulation only by impressing impulse, can miniaturize and lighten an equipment to be used and enlarges a usable temperature range. CONSTITUTION:When a spread spectrum modulated signal is impressed to a matched filter electrode 3 and a signal is extracted from a demodulated signal output electrode 4, a spread spectrum demodulated signal can be provided. The filter of characteristics performing time invertion to the frequency response of a matched filter composed of the matched filter electrode 3 and the demodulated signal output electrode 4 is composed of an impulse input electrode 2 and the matched filter electrode 3. When the impulse is impressed to the impulse input electrode 2, the spread spectrum modulated signal can be provided from the matched filter electrode 3 with a code corresponding to the matched filter. |
