PURPOSE:To make the position confirmation with a simple and reduced price constitution of a device. CONSTITUTION:The position confirming device is provided with TV receivers 1 and 2 to receive TV waves of VHF and UHF, respectively, radio receivers 3 and 4 to receive radio waves of AM and FM, respectively, and a memory 6 to store each frequency data and the data on the district names where broadcasting stations which transmit wave signals at that frequency are arranged are stored in pairs as a table. Also a control circuit 5 selects the receiving channels of the receivers l to 4 sequantially, detects the receiving frequencies of each TV wave and radio wave, and calculates the arranged district names of the broadcast stations according to the detected receiving frequencies as positional information from the table. As a result, positioning confirmation can be made with a simple and economical constitution of the device. |
