PURPOSE:To facilitate operation for leading an optical cable into the optical cable connection box. CONSTITUTION:The bottom part 20a of the box body 20 of the optical fiber connection box 14 slants downward toward a lid 20d which can be opened. The optical cable 16 is drawn up from the bottom part of the equipment 11 for the underground power distribution cable and led directly in the optical fiber connection box 14 through its lead-in opening 22. The optical cable 16 which runs through the lead-in opening 22 of the bottom part 20a of the optical fiber connection box 14 faces slightly outwards, so it can be led out of the optical fiber connection box 14 immediately while avoiding its internal obstacles and can also be drawn up naturally toward the door 12a of the equipment 11 for the underground power distribution cable. The optical cable 16 need not be led round in the equipment 11 for the underground power distribution cable, so the operation is easy. Further, the optical fiber connection box 14 can easily be reduced in size. |
