PURPOSE:To arrive at a scheduled place to go by a scheduled time even when moved to any place by providing a measuring means for determining the absolute position information of the present place, a retrieving means for determining the absolute position information of the scheduled place from the map information data base, and a communicating means. CONSTITUTION:The map information data base of a large-sized computer in a remote place is retrieved by the data communication using a radio communication I/F 209, or the data base recorded by a CD-ROM drive 214 is retrieved to determine the absolute position of a point B which is a scheduled place inputted to a schedule. The navigation signal transmitted from a GPS position is received by a GPS antenna 212, and signal-processed by a GPS data processing part 213 to determine the absolute position of a point B which is the present position. The distance from the point A to the point B is determined from the absolute position of the point B which is the scheduled place and the point A which is the present place. The time for starting from the present place is determined so as to arrive at the scheduled place by the scheduled time. |
