PURPOSE:To improve the fluctuation of vertical amplitude due to fluctuation of an anode voltage of a cathode ray tube in the vertical deflection for a television receiver or a display monitor employing the cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION:In the vertical deflection circuit where the amplitude of a sawtooth wave voltage across a capacitor C1 used to generate the sawtooth wave voltage fed to vertical deflection is corrected by applying a voltage generated at a low potential side of a high voltage winding N2 of a flyback transformer (FBT) and changed depending on an increase/decrease in an anode current of a cathode ray tube to the capacitor C1 via resistors R1, R2 or the like, a diode D1 is provided, whose anode terminal receives a prescribed voltage and whose cathode terminal connects to one terminal of the capacitor via a resistor, the cathode voltage of the diode is set so that the diode D1 is reverse- biased at the outside of the region where the anode current is limited within a prescribed current and forward-biased within the region where the anode current is limited within the prescribed current and the diode is closed by the forward bias to stop the correction. |
