<p>Arrangement for the separation of fibres from reject occurring in the production of waste paper pulp, the arrangement having a rotating cylinder 2, into which the reject pulp is fed, water nozzles 8, 9 for supplying water to the cylinder for separation of the fibres, and a collecting vessel 1, in which the water and with it the separated fibres are collected. In the arrangement the cylinder 2 comprises two sections of different diameter, the washing section 2a, into which the reject pulp is fed, having a larger diameter and the flushing section 2b having a smaller diameter. The height of the liquid surface in the collecting vessel 1 is controlled so that the washing section 2a is at all times below the liquid surface in the collecting vessel 1, whilst the cylinder section 2b that constitutes the flushing stage is at all time situated above the liquid level in the collecting vessel 1. <IMAGE></p> |
