PURPOSE:To eliminate interference from another channel and to prevent a difficulty in reception of a frame synchronizing signal and a break of speech by moving a communication channel in the case that the reception timing of a other radio communication is approximated to that of a used reception slot with a preliminarily determined time or shorter between them. CONSTITUTION:During communication, a control part 26 detects an idle channel by a reception electric field intensity detection part 25 to determine the channel of the movement destination in the case of a difficulty in communication on the used channel and adds this information as a part of transmission data to transmit it. If the reception timing of another radio communication is approximated to that of the used reception slot with the preliminarily determined time or shorter between them and communication on the used channel is difficult, the control part 26 changes this channel to the preliminarily designated channel of the movement destination to keep the communication. In the case of communication, the control part 26 synchronizes the transmission/reception timing with the signal having the highest reception electric field strength out of received signals and performs communication based on this timing.
