LURE FOR FACILITATING THE ADMINISTRATION OF DRUGS TO CERTAIN ANIMALS, PARTICULARLY DOGS

A lure for facilitating the administration of drugs to certain animals, particularly dogs, consisting of a body (1) made of a palatable material and shaped like a conventional sugar lump, said body comprising a cavity (2) open on one side (3) thereof and shaped to receive a medicinal product (C) in solid dosage form such as a tablet or capsule. A method for extemporaneously administering medicinal products in a solid dosage form to animals, particularly dogs, is also disclosed, the medicinal product (C) being inserted and concealed in the cavity (2) in the lure before said lure is given to the animal.
