L-shaped warming plate esp. for floor of farrowing sty

The plate (10) is mfd. pref. of synthetic resin able to withstand the severe environment of the sty, with a smooth surface and internal hot-water tubes or electric heating resistors. Its upper surface is sloped sufficiently for drainage of liqs. The limbs (11, 12) of the L are dimensioned to suit the spaces of the grid on which the plate is laid. The ends (15, 16) and inner edges (17, 18) are rounded with a relatively large radius. The outer edges (13,1 4) are of T-section with tabs (21) between spaces (22) for interlocking with adjacent plates.
