摘要 The motor-driven winding spool (1) which is connected by a switchable coupling (5) to the arrester disc (6) when switching over after separating the winding material (13) and placing the first layer on the new spool (1) with simultaneous release of the coupling is accelerated through the motor (4) as a result of a change in the dancer layer ideal position. Owing to the inertia of the arrester disc which practically retains its speed a relative rotary movement is produced between spool (1) and disc (6) so that the core (15) is unwound through centrifugal force. Following the change in the dancer layer ideal value (12) for the dancer layer regulator (11) the storage content of the dancer store (10) is reduced and the change in dancer layer is a measure of the length of the unwound core. At the end of the regulating process and on reaching the new dancer layer of the dancer store whereby the spool is again driven at its original speed, the coupling is again produced and the connection restored between spool and disc.
