Multi-point drawing installation of mechanical and hydraulic presses

Each thrust point of the multi-point drawing installation of mechanical and hydraulic presses consists of a cylinder (12), a piston (3), thrust bolts (2) and intermediate bolts (16,17), and is either rigidly attached to the press table (4), or is pressure-controlled independently of the others. The installation is characterised by the following facts: a) at least one of the synchronously operating, displacement-controllable pistons (6) attached to the table (4), one adjustable stop (7), and one preferably mechanically operating clamping device (8) are in effect connected to a plate (5) by means of connector rods (9,10,11) loaded in tension and/or compression; (b) the position of the plate (5) with displacement sensors (13) (preferably with two or four such sensors) and the pistons (6) is controllable.
