DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF A CLUTCH

A device for the automatic control of a clutch, in particular of vehicles in which the degree of clutch engagement is determined by the position of an accelarator of the vehicle, such as an accelerator pedal or handle. The device comprises an actuation member (90-92) connected to the clutch and two movable elements (122, 126) whose positions are associated with the degree of clutch engagement of the vehicle and the position of the accelerator, respectively. The movable elements (122, 126) comprise switching means (113, 125) capable of cooperating for making or breaking an electric contact in dependence on the positions of the elements (122, 126) relative to one another. An automatic clutch operation is thus provided with a high degree of control over the manner of clutch engagement.
