<p>A carrier (10) for beverage cans (C) of the type that grip the top portions of the cans so as to suspend them from the carrier. The upper ends of the cans extend through apertures (40) in a bottom panel (14) of the carrier, and the chimes (F) of the cans are engaged by locking tabs (20, 22, 46) surrounding each aperture. One (46) of the tabs of each aperture is foldably connected along a fold line (44) connecting the bottom panel to an adjacent side panel (16 or 18) and fold lines (32, 38) connecting a top panel (12) to the side panels include slits (50) through which portions of the can chimes protrude.</p> |
