The base (40) or the pallet (4) has an edging strip (41) all round. The sides (1,2) are placed separately on to the base or pallet and support each other against the edging strip. The insides of the sides have frame struts (12,14,16, 22,24,26) which have several partly staggered abutment surfaces in contact with two abutting sides. The inside of the lid (3) has reinforcement strips (31,32) fitting into matching recesses (11) in the side frame strips. The lid has tightening straps running inside the reinforcement strips or between the reinforcement strips and lid. USE/ADVANTAGE - Foldable pallet is made of as few as possible separate parts. It is easily handled when folded flat and is erected with little manipulation and is stable.
