Emptying system for saddle-type fuel tank in vehicle

The emptying system has a float valve (10) arranged in one of the tank chambers (5 6) which connects a fuel pump suction pipe (8) to a connecting pipe (11) projecting over the dividing wall (4), whilst at the same time blocking the inlet (9). A first valve (13) opens the pipe connection upstream of the float valve and a second valve (14) closes the return pipe (15). Upstream of the second valve a degassing outlet (20) is formed which opens into the tank chamber.
