Simple tool for dismounting securing clamps

The tool handles resilient, axially slidable securing clamps in confined working conditions, e.g. for car repair work. The extremely flat tool comprises a shaft (1), whose head (4) is chamfered on its underside up to the head end, with slightly reduced edges. The head configuration and the shaft thickness are so chosen that the head spreads out the clamp sufficiently, while the clamp compression force is sufficient to hold it on the tool during repair work.
