PURPOSE:To precisely monitor the pseudo GPS signal transmitting timing error from a geostationary satellite and the geostationary satellite position error, and improve the shoot range observed by a user GPS receiver. CONSTITUTION:The pseudo GPS signal from a geostationary satellite 2 is received by a monitor station 3 through a GPS receiving antenna 31 to determine the observation shoot range on the basis of a prescribed standard time, and for this observation shoot range, the error to the calculated distance between the geostationary satellite 2 and the GPS receiving antenna 31 is calculated. The PN code generating timing of the pseudo GPS signal transmitted to the geostationary satellite 2 is controlled according to this error, and transmitted to a user GPS receiver 42 via the geostationary satellite 2, whereby the transmitting timing error of the pseudo GPS signal from the geostationary satellite and the geostationary satellite position error can be precisely corrected. |
