PURPOSE: To provide an autotransformer which combines asynchronous base- band signals with individual twisted wire pairs sharing a cable sheath. CONSTITUTION: A device for transmitting signals of a plurality of asynchronous video channels (three channels in this embodiment) through individual twisted wire pairs contained in a single cable sheath is disclosed. In the device, the number of turns of a winding N1 is adjusted to 27 and those of windings N2 and N3 are adjusted to 37. A capacitor C has a capacitance of 4.7μF and a resonance frequency (f0 ) is 212 Hz. In general applications, it is preferable to adjust the capacitance of the capacitor C to 1.0-4.7μF and the value of a resistor R to 200-400Ω. In addition, when a material having high magnetic permeability is selected for cores 41 and 42, the highest inductance can be attained per one turn. Usually, the magnetic permeability is 50,000 or higher.
