PURPOSE:To enhance water retention properties, hydrophilicity, preservation stability, ink build-up properties and durability to repeated printing, by providing a photosensitive layer in a specified thickness on an aluminum base having an anodic oxide layer in a specified thickness and having a specified roughness surface. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer comprising a diazo resin and an oleophilic high molecular weight compound as main constituents is provided in an amount of 10-40mg/dm<2> on an aluminum base having thereon an anodic oxide layer in an amount of 5-35mg/dm<2> and having a roughness surface with a center line average roughness height (Ra) of 0.4-0.9mum and a non-porosity rate determined from an Abbott load curve at a depth of 3 times the Ra of not more than 50%. The diazo resin is preferably a condensate of a subst. or unsubst. p-diazophenylamine with an aldehyde, wherein an anion is a Lewis acid halide such as PF6 and BF4. From the viewpoint of preservation stability, the oleophilic high molecular weight compound is preferably a copolymer comprising a constituent unit derived from a monomer having a hydroxyl group, such as an acrylamide, methacrylamide, acrylate and methacrylate, or the like. |
