<p>The assembly to apply a pleating to edge zones of a material (4), of natural and/or synthetic fibres, has a continuous supple belt (9) to guide the material through the working rollers (5,6). A second supply (22) of a further supple belt (20) is inserted into the material flow at the level of the upper working roller (5), between the sprung layer (15) and the material (4). It keeps the unpleated zone of the material (4) in place, during its serpentine path through and round the working rollers (5,6).</p> |
