The image reception sheet (1) for dyes transferred from a heat transfer sheet by heat consists of a substrate (2), a dye acceptor layer (3) disposed on one of the surfaces of the substrate (2) and a curl prevention layer (5). This is disposed on the surface of the substrate opposite to the dye acceptor layer (3) or between the substrate and the dye acceptor layer (3). It is made of a nonheat-expandable/contractable resin whose thermal elongation rate is within the range of -1.0 to 1.5% in accordance with JIS-K-6734.
