A development unit (10) for electric photocopiers using a magnetizable one-component toner (29) initially contained in a removable container (43) from which it is fed, by means of a rotating flexible strip (42), though a development (40) chamber fitted with stirring devices (15,44,45) to avoid the formation of lumps and to maintain the correct fluidity of the toner, and with a sensor device (41) to detect when the removable container is nearly empty, towards a rotating non-magnetic development drum (20) surrounding a number of stationary permanent magnets (25) over which is formed a magnetic brush, whose thickness is controlled by a non-magnetic flexible strip (22) pressed against the surface of the development drum. <IMAGE> |
