A steel sheet is disclosed which is laminated on both sides with a resin film. A two-piece can having a can height about twice the length of the can diameter and a wall thickness from 40 to 70% of the original sheet thickness can be formed from the steel sheet under a special wall thickness reduction process without the use of water-based coolants or lubricants.
