GREEN COLOR MASTERBATCH COMPOSITIONS FOR POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE

The green color master batch composition of a polyethylene terepl thalate(PET) is composed of 100 wt.% polyethylene terephthalate resin having 0.5-0.85 intrinsic viscosity, 0.6-0.85 wt.% pyrazolone yellow, 0.2-0.35 wt.% phthalocyanine blue and 0.8-2.0 wt.% substd. benzotriazole as a ultraviolet absorbent. The transparent PET bottle for soft drinks, having a good green color distinction and ultraviolet-shieldability, is mfd. by adding 5 wt.% master batch composition to 95 wt.% PET resin, and blow injection molding the mixture.
