ENGINE OIL FOR DIESEL ENGINE PROVIDED WITH EXHAUST GAS RECYCLING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an engine oil which prevents the abrasion of the components of the combustion chamber of a diesel engine and the wear on the sliding surface inside the engine even when the engine oil is contaminated with sulfuric acid and soot formed in the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:The engine oil is prepared by mixing a lube base oil (mineral or synthetic oil) with 5.8-8.3wt.% calcium alkylsalicylate having a total basic number(TBN) of 165mgKOH/g and a calcium content of 6.0wt.% as a cleaning agent, 0.09-0.13wt.% (in terms of zinc atom) primary alkyl zinc dithiophosphate as an antioxidant/wear inhibitor and 0.02-0.04wt.% (in terms of molybdenum atom) oil-soluble oxymolybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate as a friction modifier/ wear inhibitor.
