A cable has at least one conductor (1) that is surrounded with strips (2) coated with mica and with an insulating polymer layer (3e) and that is embedded in a sheath (4) made of polymer filled with inorganic material. A metallic protection shaped as a metallic sheath (6) made of corrugated steel strip is applied to ensure the flexibility of the cable and to protect it against rodents and termites. The cable is fire-proof and remains functional for a determined time in case of fires at temperatures of 850 DEG C. |
