PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous striplike transfer sheet capable of obtraining a transfer pattern or character having a sharp contour line using a computer cutting machine, easily peeling and removing an unnecessary residual part after cutting and capable of being efficiently produced. CONSTITUTION:A continuous striplike transfer sheet is produced by successively providing a color layer and a hot-melt adhesive layer on a continuous strip-like base sheet and characterized by that the surface material of the hot-melt adhesive layer is smooth. The smooth surface of the hot-melt adhesive layer is formed by adapting a T-die method, a casing method or a coating method to the formation of the hot-melt adhesive layer.
