PURPOSE:To heat a food up to a desired cooking temperature without deforming or breaking a packing means by irradiating a packed food produced by packing the food with the packing means with IR generated from an IR irradiating device. CONSTITUTION:A food 31 is packed with a packing means 32 to prepare a packed food 30, which is carried to a place between ceramic heaters 12a, 12b in a casing 11 with a carrying conveyer 18. The IR irradiation energy of the ceramic heaters 12a, 12b, the wavelength of the IR and the volume of cooling air from an air blower 15 are controlled to heat the food at a desired cooking temperature. The heated food is subsequently cooled to a desired cooling temperature with a cooling means 31. |
