METHOD FOR FORMING MOLDED PLASTIC PART AND CORE RING ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: To provide a molded plastic part producing method and apparatus excluding the cost and time for forming individual core segments by using an integrated melt recovering metal core ring assembly for the outer surface molding and production of a molded plastic part having a complicated structure and the cumulation of the common difference generated during assembling. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing a machine 12 distributing a molten alloy, a process for injecting the molten alloy into male and female core molds 14 by a pump in order to form male and female core rings, a process for together assembling the male and female core rings in order to form a core ring assembly, a process for mounting the core ring assembly in a molding machine 34 for the purpose of outer surface molding and a process for melting and recovering the core ring assembly from a surface-molded part to return the molten alloy to the machine 12 are included. The core ring assembly is constituted of a female core ring and the complementarily shaped male core ring inserted in the female core ring and the male and female core rings have a plurality of segments extending from first and second flanges.
