<p>PURPOSE:To realize the recycling of scrap of a product as the recycled Al alloy without defective impurities by efficiently removing Pb and Fe which are the main impurities contained therein in the molten condition with the scrap of coated products made of Al alloy for automobile as the raw material to be recycled. CONSTITUTION:Scrap of coated products made of Al alloy is used as at least a part of the raw materials, and after the scrap is melted, at least one kind to be selected from the group consisting of the compound oxide containing Si, SiO2, Ca, Ba, the compound containing Ca and the compound containing Ba is added into the molten metal to remove Pb in the molten metal as the compound containing Pb. At least one kind to be selected from the group consisting of Ta, Ta compound, Ti, Ca, Ba, Cl, Ti oxide, Ca oxide, Ba oxide, and the compound containing Cl is added into the molten metal to remove Fe in the molten metal as the compound containing Fe. These processes are executed in an arbitrary order to remove Pb and Fe.</p> |
