<p>PURPOSE:To provide an essential recycling process whereby the aromatic dihydroxy compound, the diaryl carbonate, etc., obtained by the decomposition of a waste aromatic polycarbonate resin can be utilized again as starting materials for an aromatic polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:From reaction solution containing the aromatic dihydroxy compound and the diaryl carbonate compound obtained by decomposing a waste aromatic polycarbonate resin produced by using a polymerization terminator by the transesterification with a phenol, the polymerization terminator is separated, and the obtained solution is fed as such into a melt polymerization reaction step for producing an aromatic polycarbonate.</p> |
