<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate bending by forming a covered body by a covered--body surface layer consisting of the synthetic resin of the same kind as a covered- body footing and the chips of wood of fine particles on the covered-body footing and the covered-body base layer made of a flexible or semi-rigid thermoplastic synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A covered-body base layer 2 and a covered-body surface layer 3 are integrally extruded and molded to form a covered body 1 for a handrail, and the covered-body base layer 2 is molded by polyvinyl chloride containing a 10-50% plasticizer. The covered-body surface layer 3 formed onto the covered- body base layer 2 is molded from polyvinyl chloride containing the 10-50% plasticizer as the remainder to a 5-50% mixture obtained by mixing and permeating a small quantity of tatanium-oxide fine particles to the chips of wood of fine particles having a diameter of 10-l00mum. Accordingly, an excellent fine view and the feeling easy to be fitted to hands can be imparted.</p> |
