<p>PURPOSE:To utilize space effectively by rotatably mounting a fitting for a handrial on a wall surface and housing or pulling out the handrail into or from a recessed section formed to the wall surface by rotating the handrail. CONSTITUTION:A handrail 1 is installed rotatably onto a wall surface 4 by a fitting 3 with a shaft parallel with the longitudinal direction of the handrail, and the handrail 1 is housed in a recessed section 7 shaped to the wall surface 4 by turning the fitting 3. When the handrail 1 is used, the unevermess 33 of the lower end of the fitting 3 is abutted against the wall surface 4 by pulling out the handrail 1 from the wall surface 4, and the weight of the handrail 1 is brought to a downward applied state and the handrail 1 can be employed normally. Accordingly, the handail is housed in the wall surface at the unnecessary time and is not a hindrance to a passage way, a stair, etc., thus effectively utilizing space.</p> |
