<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a transmission gear device from being subjected to any overload by arranging a means to automatically cut off drive in a driving device, when a trouble is generated in a motion raising paper sheets in a device for raising the paper sheets received in a paper feed tray. CONSTITUTION:A pushing-up arm 12 for raising paper sheets P received in a paper feed tray 10 against a paper feed device is driven by a half moon gear 25 through the gear device of a driving device 20. In the driving device 20, an end part gear 23 is arranged on the end part of the transmission gear device 22, an oscillating gear 30 is provided between the end part gear and the half moon gear 25, and the oscillating gear 30 is pressed against the half moon gear 25 by the use of an energization means such as spring. When overload is applied on the driving device, the end part gear 23 moves the oscillating gear 30 in the direction of disengaging so as to release transmission of the driving force, and hence the gear device or a driving motor 21 are prevented from generation of trouble.</p> |
