PURPOSE: To obtain a novel rhodium catalyst composition capable of crosslinking the emulsion of methylhydrogensiloxane by containing a rhodium catalyst, an arylester, a vinylester or an unsaturated acetate and an alcohol containing >=3 carbon atoms. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst composition is formed so as to contain a rhodium catalyst an arylester, a vinylester or an unsaturated acetate and an alcohol containing >=3 carbon atoms. The rhodium catalyst has an inorganic ligand and its amount used is not limited to a small range but can be decided easily by usual experiments. The unsaturated acetate can be an arylester or a vinyl ester, and its amount changes depending on the rhodium catalyst used and the amount of alcohol. The alcohol containing >=3 carbon atoms can be any alcohol containing >=3 carbon atoms and its amount changes depending on the amount of the rhodium catalyst and the unsaturated acetate. |
