PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal-polymer material which can provide good contrast at a low drive voltage. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal-polymer material is prepared by dispersing a liquid crystal material in a polymer matrix selected from the group consisting of an epoxy polymer and an acrylate polymer and having such a cross-linking density that the drive voltage can be minimized while keeping the contrast ratio.
