PURPOSE:To provide a cooler for a rubber sheet in which cut of a sheet and damage of a conveyor can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:An upper stage conveyor 6, an intermediate stage conveyor 7 and a lower stage conveyor 8 are so provided in a cooling casing 4 as to deliver a rubber sheet G. A detecting arm 15 oscillated by contraction of the sheet G and a detecting switch 17 to be operated by oscillating of the arm 15 are provided at a discharge end of the sheet G of the conveyor 7. Control means for driving the conveyor 6 or the conveyor 6, 7 when the switch 17 is operated is provided. When the sheet G is contracted, the arm 15 is oscillated, the switch 17 is operated by oscillating of the arm 15, and the conveyor 6 or the conveyor 6, 7 are driven in a sheet conveying direction. The sheet G is fed by the drive to lower a tension of the sheet G. |
