The device protects the power control device from over current and short faults. The device includes a control signal generator(1) which generates control step signal patterns, a delay(10) which outputs the delay times according to the multiple groups (Group1- Groupn), a latch(2) which outputs a digital sugnals, a traffic signal lamp(4) which outputs traffic signals, an overcurrent breaker(5) which breaks overcurrent to the power control device, and a zero-point detector(11) which outputs a zero-point signal to the delay(10).
