The skin lotion composition having an acne treating effect is composed of 5.0 wt.% glycerin, 3.0 wt.% 1,3-butylene glycol, 5.0 wt.% ethanol, 0.4 wt.% polyoxyethylene nonylphenylether, 0.1 wt.% commiphora molmal L. extract, 0.1 wt.% melaphis chinensis bell extract, 0.1 wt.% perminmalia chabrila retz extract, 0.1 wt.% biota orientalis enbl extract, 0.1 wt.% ginkgo biloga ertract, and residual distilled water. The cosmetic composition inhibits the growth of propionibacterium acnes.
